Service Description
This class is a fun introduction to your fundamental movements like squat, lunge, hinge + deadlift! In this class your kiddo will improve their proprioception + gross motor skills through a structured exercise program. Each class is a full body workout focusing on strength training with age appropriate movements + weights. Classes are filled with fun partner drills, technique work + an introduction to a different fundamental movement each week. We love to add in some play based exercise games, relays + fun/healthy competition! Our goal is to make fitness FUN and something that the kids look forward to each week! We want to encourage fitness and movement to be a positive tool they can use to care for their bodies! These classes are a great way to teach kids how to.... -->exercise with proper form + technique --> learn about their body through movement -->recognize their physical and mental limits + capabilities -->push through mental barriers and limitations -->persevere through challenges -->problem solve -->follow directions -->make exercise a reward not a punishment -->build lasting friendships! Classes are 45 minutes long and will run 1x a week on Mondays at 5:15PM This is a DROP OFF class for 5-9 year olds. (Turning 5 this year -->2021-2017) Important Info! Fitness Waiver to be signed by parent before classes begin. No refund of classes once they begin.
